(GBS) offers an engaging overview of the Living Building Challenge, an ambitious rating system newly developed by the Cascadia Chapter of the US Green Building Council to define the highest measure of sustainability attainable in the built environment. This session will cover the rating system structure and guide you through its most rigorous aspects. Through project case studies, you will learn what strategies can make the Living Building Challenge achievable and how it informs building design.
