Mitch brings 10 years of experience in HVAC system Testing, Adjusting and Balancing as well as Building Systems Commissioning to the GBS team. As a registered Professional Engineer and LEED Accredited Professional, he has worked as a commissioning agent performing building commissioning, retro-commissioning and energy auditing. His commissioning experience involves new construction commissioning, commissioning of energy projects and retro-commissioning for existing buildings targeting energy savings opportunities. Commissioning duties have included project management, design and construction document review, design intent and owner's project requirement review, writing commissioning specifications and plan, submittal review, writing and performing functional acceptance tests and performance tests, installation review, initial startup, O&M review, staff training review, warranty support and report writing.

He brings more than 30 years of accounting, human resource and business administration experience from a wide variety of business environments including governmental/military, consumer finance, retail, manufacturing, public utility, and consulting services. Randy was one of the original GBS team members in 2000, and rejoined GBS in January 2007.

Jennie brings more than 20 years of Architecture/Engineering experience to GBS and her broad expertise in accounting is a significant asset to the operations team. Tom is responsible for documenting the project requirements in the design phase (enhanced commissioning) and reviewing design documents including the basis of design, MEP drawings, and associated specifications. Tom is also responsible for reviewing the design documentation, and construction submittals with a focus on decreasing construction costs by helping to provide clear and accurate direction to all project team members.

She recently transitioned from her role on the Design Simulation team where she focused on delivering energy efficient solutions for a project’s overall energy consumption. Trained in architecture, Rasika brings an designer’s perspective to this technology driven field. She specializes in shading analyses, energy simulation and analyses, ecological footprint, solar income statements and M&V plans. Rasika has a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from the University of Pune in India and a Masters in Sustainable Design from Carnegie Mellon.

He is leading our client retention efforts through an ongoing audit of all our client touchpoints. Andrew spends his spare time at book stores, playing soccer, skiing and finding any excuse to get outside on a sunny day.

Alicia assists in the preparation of client deliverables and technical analysis assistance including project coordination and research for LEED certification processes. Although her focus is in Commercial Interiors, Alicia also has experience on LEED CI for Retail, LEED for Existing Buildings and LEED Volume Certification paths. When she is not at work Alicia enjoys anything outdoors including running and surfing as well as quiet time with a good book and her two Siamese cats on her lap.

He also managed the construction operations for Concord Naval Weapons Station and all service contracts for Guam Naval Public Works Center. A recently retired Navy Captain in the Civil Engineer Corps reserve component, Ted is familiar and capable of supporting both public and private sector organizations.

Since starting at GBS, Misty has gained a greater appreciation for green building and its impact on preserving the environment. In her spare time Misty loves spending time with her husband, playing with her kids and finding a few moments of peace and quiet.
