Eliot Tower
Eliot Tower is a 352,800 SF high rise building in downtown Portland, OR. Eliot Tower utilizes a prime parcel of land that was previously not fulfilling its full potential. Before redevelopment, a single story grocery store and parking lot stood on the site; the project involved the cleanup of existing asbestos and the transformation of the site into 252 dwelling units and 30,000 square feet of retail space. The site is adjacent to many of the amenities typically associated with an urban lifestyle, such as museums and performing arts centers while its proximity to open space provides a good balance to the area. A streetscape that is tailored to pedestrians and access to extensive bikeways, light rail, and Portland’s streetcar allow residents to stay connected to the neighborhood and city without driving.
